Hot breakfast with a good choice of good foods. Excellent, handy location just next door to Cubley Hall, the bar Restaurant and train station.

Beds were a little small.

Would return anytime for party. This quaint, exceptionally clean property has warm cold buffet breakfasts and very amiable stuff. The rooms are a nice size with spectacular views of the garden. Nice touch to have a storage space and soundproofing. Its location is exceptionally nice and perfect, close to Cubley Hall, great feel, stunning barn and gorgeous views and grounds, multiple areas and the relaxed nature, crowded area.

We were travelling to Penistone for one night. Its magnificent, remote location was a plus. Moreover, it was 6 km from St James. Nothing too much trouble, the hotel met expectation.

It is an ideal base for party, has splendid views over the garden. Spotlessly clean building and rooms with convenient decoration. A lot of food for the cold buffet breakfast. Easy to get to, perfect location very close to village centre, and so many pubs closing.

We stayed in reasonably priced room with double bed that also had wake-up service. The hotel was set in a remote area close enough to the cinema in the historic penistone paramount, the pub/restaurant and Cubley Hall, great feel, stunning barn and gorgeous views and grounds.
